Has anyone managed to interface a SCO openserver 6 (MP3) box with a Windows 2008R2 box for NFS, using the windows services for NFS ?

I would like to mount a share from the windows server onto a mount point on the Unix box.

I've tried various types of configruations on the windows side, and I cannot make it work. When using scoadmin to mount he file system the system sees the share, but it never manages to finish the mount.

Right now I've got permissions set on the Windows share to allow everyone / anonymous to connect. Still it doesn't work. Additionally, the windows box isn't logging anything, so I'm flying blind.

Any ideas / experience ?

Thanks.

What exactly is the error/fail message you are seeing? Or does it just hang at the end of the mount attempt?

Also try installing MP4 - there were many network related fixes in there.
