Hey Guys,

Already migrated 4-5 SCO 5.x to virtual and had no issues adding blc dirvers from floppy.
But now faced strange problem with SCO 6.0. I can't access floppy from boot prompt. It says No such device.
Is there any way to add blc drivers from boot so I can start OS and link drivers for disk? or may at least access fd from boot.

Any ideas appreciated.

Add the driver to the boot cd. Copy the cd to a Windows system, copy the driver to the driver directory and re-create the cd.

Issue was resolved by installing SCO 6.0 on VM from scratch. Then I mounted old volume and copied whole boot disk from fresh installation to old volume and it boot fine.

Update.
So working solution.
1. Install SCO 6.0 on VMWare from scratch using LSI IDE
2. Mount Virtual Drive created with VMWare Boot CD from physical box
3. Copy UNIX file from /stand of running machine to mounted /boot
4. Enjoy your beer and broken over the wall head

Spend over 40 hours trying to find this solution
Hope it will save time to somebody.
