SCO 5 running VisionFS installing printer in w2000

What Im tring to do is to install a network printer on a w2000 pro machine. The print server is running SCO 5
and visionfs. If i use a a printer and browse the netwrok i see the print server, but when i choose the correct printer it says that is is invalid, could not connect to the printer. I dont understand it because i can see the printer share. Please help

hi,

In order to print on a shared printer on the unix box from your win2k box you have to configure visionfs and add your user.

#/usr/vision/bin/visionfs password --add <username> <password>

you have to login on the win2k with the same username that you configure with the vision command.
