SCO 5.0.6 running slow on IBM seies X205 server 2.0Ghz P4

I have two IBM X205 series servers running sco 5.0.6. This server has Intel P4 2.0Ghz 1GB RAM and a mirrored 18.2 GB hard disk.

These servers were installed last week at different locations. Since then, I've had to restart both servers as they started to run painfully slow. After restarting, everything returned to a quick speed.

The database application running is relatively small and runs using informix 7.23

I did install supplement 5.0.6a before installing the applications.

You need to do more investigation in what was causing the slow down. Run system monitoring tools to see where the bottleneck lies (CPU, IO, memory, operating system tables, ... etc). Check the log files too.
