I am trying to install SCO 5.0.5 on a Hp proliant ML350 G3 using the BTLD 5.64, when I boot with the cd I put the next thing at the boot prompt:

Boot:
mem=1m-16m
Boot:
defbootstr link=ad160 hd=Sdsk Sdsk=ad160(0,0,0) Srom=wd(0,0,0)

pressing enter it begans to booting, a message to insert the volume with fd(65) appears; after I insert the floppy and I press enter a message of successfull apears and the initial display of sco appears at the screen with the message:

Press Enter to begin Installation

after i press the enter key a blue display appears with the message:

Starting Initial System load from: floppy disk

The installation doesn't continue.
How I do to install the OS if the media is the CD and not the floppy?

Tahks!
Excuse my English.

Why restricting the RAM to only 16m ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

Try this boot string instead:

boot: defbootstr Srom=wd(0,0,0,0) link=ad160

I think you have too much on your example, and some of it is incorrect. You may have to modify the wd parameters if your CD-ROM isn't Master on Primary IDE.
