How do I setup a ultra 160 PCI SCSI in my IBM eServer running SCO 5.0.4. ?

The serever already has a ultra160 adapter which the harddisks are attached to.

So there will be two Adapters installed

Hello,
You need to be more specific about your configuration. What kind of host adapter do you have now ? What kind of host adapter are trying to add to your system ? Be a little more specific and I will try to help you.

If you are correct about this being the same type of card as your current controller you should be able to use it without installing any new drivers.

You do need to check the controller docs regarding using multiple scsi controllers to make sure you set it up so that it won't interfere with your current controller.

Just put the card in the machine and install the devices on it. Your existing controller is ad160 controller 0 (I think ad160 is correct for an ultra160), and the new one will be controller 1.
