SCN Voicemail Pro Issue

Hi Expert avaya !

Someone know if he have something to do on the voicemail pro in SCN (voicemail centralised on 1 site) to if the link is down between the site. If someone call at the main site (where is the Voicemail Pro) and dial an extension to reach someone at the second site, the call just drop. (Probably because is not reaching the extension) But why the invalid entry not working in this case ?

When the SCN goes down the systems completely forget about the other systems extn numbers and so the number dialled is matched against system shortcodes, you could create a shortcode like: 3XX - VM Collect - "#3N" and that should only match when the SCN goes down and push the calls to the relevant mailbox (ignore the alert in the error pane)

Not sure understand well what you told me.

now if someone call exemple at site 1 (Where is the VM) and dial extension 3XX (Extension use on site 2)

The voicemail is program like this :

General Menu
3 - go to Menu 3-Condition test

Condition test Menu
3 - Go to Extension 312
?? - go to Transfert $KEY

so if the person dial extension 305 the vm transfer at $Key but the voicemail cannot reach the extension (because the link is down) so he drop the call.

so you tell me to program a short code voicemail collect for 3XX but that change nothing, he cannot reach the voicemail anyway, no ?

So you tell me to program on the second system a short code 3XX Voicemail collect "#"3N (already do by the way).
but where i send this command on the voicemail Pro ?

No shortcode goes on the system where the VM resides (site 1) so when site 2 is down it follows that code
