SCN more than 16 sites

Have a customer with 20 plus sites all linked via SCN, One main site with VPN lines to all others. Avaya say they support SCN up to 16 sites, has anyone got similiar or evan larger setups working ok. No problems at this stage just planing for the future and need to know whether or not it will pay to create a second master site and split the network.

I have seen and been involved in the implementation of a 17 site job all SCN together, 17 is the limit so if you are going to exceed this you need to setup two master nodes linked of to all the rest. I experienced no major issues provided QOS was enforced and ALL sites were running the same version. THe minute there is one site on a different version VOIP starts to get a bit funny.

So how would you advise to setup the network configuration?
Say 2 master sites linked via a trunk with half the other sites hanging of each master?

you seem to have the answer already

Setup 2 sites as hubs & link them with a Voip trunk (but disable SCN on this conection)
link all the onter sites to these hubs using SCN as necessary.
chousing a 5 or 6 digit numbering scheme may be usefull for a network of this size, 1st 2 digits = site no then remaining 3 or 4 = extn number.

But do they all get to dial ext to ext across all sites? Would I need to use short codes to route between the 2 NW's?
