Hi.
I'm trying to figure out the best sollution for this one customer who wants some more reciliency than what they have now. They have two offices in two different countries, where one of the offices has an IPO 7.0 with PRI and 5410 phones and CCR. The other office is connected to the same IPO and uses 5610s and has a SIP trunk that allows them to "call locally". What they see as an issue right now is that soon as the VPN goes down the phones in one office goes down. And if the main office goes down, the phones in both offices goes down.
So to "solve" this the my idea is to use one IPO at each office, both with PRIs and connected with SCN. The 5410s exchanged for 9620s,same User Rights in both IPOs. I figure that if I set it upp so that all configuration is at the main office and the 2nd office mainly acts as a fallback for the main office I will be able to use CCR for both offices and still have reciliency. So if the main office goes down all that needs to be done (hrm..) is to steer over the PRI traffic from the main office to the second office and all will be OK. Right...
I´m pretty sure Im missing something here. Anyone want tell me what it is? It would be greatly appreciated.
