SCN does not allow dialing remote extension from Auto Attendant

I have SCN enabled between two sites. One site has extensions in the 200 range the other in the 300 range. I want to be able to have someone who calls in, to be able to key in a users extension in any location.

I am using embedded voice mail, and if I do a Normal transfer fron a menu key, like press 9, to a specific remote extension, it works. If I leave the destination blank, I can only call local extensions.

How can I make this work?
 
I have just tried this on my v4 rig and it works as sweet as a nut.

I have a callflow that goes to a menu, i have created a new touch tone that is 7?? that links to a transfer that has $KEY.

This works ok for me on v4.
 
I assume you are using VM Pro?

If so, maybe thats the difference. I am using embedded VM.

I am also not familiar with the $KEY option. Is this documented?

Oh yes, my mistake.

Ill try it now.

The way this works is the following.

On embedded if you set option 9 for example to dial the extension if you know it and leave the action field blank you should be able to dial any ext.

You would have to press 9 first though, so your greeting would have to say if you know your ext press 9 followed the ext.

Trying it now.
