I have a customer that is using single line Scitec phones with their Partner system.
They have the Message Wiating Light voltage option for the Partner system from Scitec, but when they plug in these phones, the MW light is on all the time.
They want it to be OFF as the default setting the when a message has been left for that extension, the MW light would be on. There is no voice mail in this system, rather the front desk of this business needs to send a MW signal to any extension to light the MW light on the phone.
It was programmed by a Lucent installer a year ago but the phones had the incorrect MW voltage on the phone. Now that they have been upgraded, they have this constant MW light ON problem.
Any ideas from some of the wise Partner techs out there? Andrew Roach
