schemas -> default table structure?

I was under the impression that you could associate a default create table statement with a schema... so that all tables (or a subset of tables) within the schema have the exact same structure (as if they were all created using the 'like' sql command)

Is this true, and if so.. how can you set this up?

That reads like a curious one. If you do not explicitly state a schema , objects will be created with the default schema that is the authorization id. DB2 sort of lends it's user id's from the operating system which is often a confusing point for people that are accustomed to creating user-id's independantly (like ORACLE). So creating a new user XXXX within the operating system (for instance on NT) and granting the appropriate rights to this new id within DB2 will give you the implicite schema XXXX ........... T. Blom

what about when you do create the schema explicitly? Isnt there an option that lets you stick a create table statement within the create schema statement? What does that do?
