Guessof problem: First DC in the forest has lost the schema attributes for Exchange. And for Infrastructure update!!
The First DC shows the Microsoft Exchange System Objects OU & Infrasture update as the flying windows icon. When adding users no option is given for adding a mailbox. Right click on users doesn't show Exchange Tasks... option. Users do not have additional tabs of Exchange attributes. New users can be added, work, and replicate to the other DCs.
The exchange server is also a DC and everything looks good on that server. When adding users at the Exchange server everything looks great and all users have the additional tabs that are the added schema attributes for exchange. The Microsoft Exchange System Objects OU looks like everyother OU.
Additional DC's do not even show the Microsoft Exchange System Objects OU.
Any help out there. Exchange is running fine and even current users can be added on the exchange and get assigned a mailbox without any problems...but of course something is going on.
Any help would be appreciated we are a small school district just changing over to Win2K from Novell 4.11.
Thanks in advance for any insight or help,
Pam
