Hello there
I have an access 2000 database that I would like to automate an export of a query of a list of telephone numbers. I have already created a command button to do this. Here's my dilemma...
I export to a .txt file (comma delim. format) That is fine however, I would like the telephone numbers to keep there input mask format from the database (specifically their area codes) Presently the telephone numbers are exported in a 123-4567 format. I would like 250-123-4567.
It does look like all of the area codes will be 250 with the exception of long distance which would be 1-250 (there are only 5-6 records like this. Can I use a schema.ini file to take this into consideration and reformat the area codes before the telephone numbers?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks
Tina
