schema incompatible

Please can anyone help? I have a small business server 2003 domain controller and a windows 2003 server R2 domain (act as the second domain controller). At the moment within the windows 2003 server event logs (Directory services), I receive error msgs that the schema is incompatible.
Please how can I resolve this?
