I wish to wake my pc up from standby mode at scheduled times in order to carry out certain tasks. I have some scheduling software that allows me to start programs at specific times, but do not know how to wake the pc up.
I am guessing that there may be an .exe file somwhere in System32 that my scheduling software can call to do this. There is third party software around that allows you to schedule restarts, but if there's a way to do it without resorting to more software, it would be preferable.
Any ideas...
