Hello Netters,

Can anyone shed some lights on how to set scheduler for a bunch of workflows at one time instead of setting each one of them individually? I created a reusable scheduler, but I have to open each workflow to set the scheduler. I would like to be able to set the scheduler for a group of workflows, or maybe just for a folder of workflows...

Please help!

Thanks,

Daili

Hi,

Actually I am working on 5.1 so no idea of abt workflow but if u are saying u want to schedule the no. of batches in folder and for each batch u are specifying the schedule time. Instead of that you want this to be done at only once or single file. if this is your requirement what i suggest is to write a unix shell script and schedule using cron utility of unix.

other option is store the information of scheduling in one table(provide some GUI to user for specifying the time for each batch) and get that table information by invoking sqplus from unix script and than execute the batches accordingly from script itself using pmcmd. this is not very easy task but once done will be very helpful because user will have no access to server manager but only GUI where he can specify the schdule timings.

I hope this helps you.
