Hi All,

I'm a little confused with the whole scheduling with events thing. I want to daisy chain hundreds of reports in 5 different streams ie have 5 streams and then have reports in each run like a domino rally. I want to have specific reports run after one another within each stream on success or failure of ther previous report.

How would i go about rigidly daisy chaining these reports?
Do i have to setup an event for each report to run, or set up one event and then use times?

Thanks in advance

Hi,
in CE10 you can package up reports to run in a stream and can also set whether the whole stream fails on one report or whether it will continue. From what I remember you can create new "Packages" from the home page of the Crystal Management console and then schedule that package as required.

can packages be daisy chained based on events?

I would have thought so to allow streams of reports to be run but I do not have access to an install of CE10 at the moment I am afraid.

Let me know how you get on.
