Hello,
I'm running SQL Server 2005 Ent Edition. I'm looking to be able to schedule the profiler to run a template at 8pm-10pm on mon, tues and wed. Is this possible to schedule to happen automatically. If so, can you point me in some direction.

BTW, the search function is "undergoing maintenance" so I apologize if this topic has been answered. Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can setup a trace to be started from a job step, and schedule it to stop automatically.

The easist way to get the commands you want for the trace is to setup profiler to monitor for SQL Profiler and start the trace. Then setup a second trace with all the settings that you want for when you schedule it. Don't forget to tell it to output to a file or to a table. Then run the second trace. The first trace will now have all the commands that you need to setup.

Modify the stop time, and schedule the job to run.
