Hi,

I have 2 tasks
Task Start Finish
Task A - 01/Jul/2010 15/Jul/2010 resource 1, resource 2
Task B 28/JUn/2010 05/Jul/2010- Resorce 2

But I want resource 2 to start after he has completed tasks B i.e. after 05/Ju/2010. How do I show that in the plan, such that it does not show overallocation?

For a trivial example like this:
Tools > Level resources

In the real world, you'll find that this approach creates *havoc* with your schedule and you'll manually level when necessary. To do that:

View > Task Usage
You can enter the work you want performed and the day you want it performed in the grid to the right.

Or

View > Task Usage
Window > split
In the bottom section, RightMouseButton on the grey area and select Resource Schedule. You can play around in that screen to get the results you want.
