Scheduling reports - passing parameters

Related to rb2005's posting regarding scheduling & prompting for parameters, I would like to schedule a list of reports, passing parameter values.

My thought was to create an event called 'New Quarter'. I would run this event manually when I know there is new data in the database for the new quarter. I would like to pass parameters (Quarter Number & New Year) to the reports when the event is run.

Is it possible to pass parameters to scheduled reports through an event? Thank you for any information you may have to impart.

You could look at the APOS InfoScheduler tool, it allows you to create "batches" of scheduled reports with different parameter values.

I have used it on a number of client sites.
