Hello,

I am using Crystal Designer XI and Business Objects Enterprise CMC XI.

We have a report that needs to be scheduled to run every night and sent to each Action Officer with only their own information on.

Currently there are 97 Action officers, so the report is scheduled 97 times and each scheduled instance has a different Action Officer entered into the parameter field (manually typed by me).

This list of Action Officers is constantly changing so the maintenance is high. Is there a way of scheduling the report to run per action officer by taking the value from the Action Officer field on the report rather than having to schedule so many instances and manually typing in the Action Officer name for each one?

Thanks in advance.
Jessica

Visual Cut does exactly what you are looking for and is very economical. My company uses it for some key users that need to burst and email sections of reports which they do from their desktop and can use the Windows Scheduler or manually kick off once they have verifed their data. The only caveat is, I am not sure if Visual Cut can be integrated and used from the CMC.

Thanks for the responses... I've had a brief look at the APOS Bursting Manager in the past, but not heard of Visual Cut - I'll investigate them both more thoroughly.

Thanks again!
Jessica

You might also look into pdfeXplode. This is a program that our company uses for report bursting and have had good luck with it. The tags can be entered or set up to use a field or table in the database to update itself.
