I switch on my W8 machine, login, press the browser button.
Desktop opens, browser opens.
I type about 10 characters, and then my I cursor disappears!

My postit notes have just decided to start up and have taken focus away from the browser. I don't always realize this so very often, I end up with a messed up postit note with half a web address or vpn login/password. This doesn't happen on W7: the postits start up at the same time as the desktop.

How do I schedule the postit notes to start up earlier?

See if there is anything in these that you can use.

"The result should be apps set to run at startup — either via the Startup folder or the registry — will run as soon as they’re able."

Thanks: lots to try there. Probably take me a week to get through it but I don't mind. Hopefully I'll find something.
