We might purchase some Mitel 3300s in the future and we're looking at their Ops Manager and Enterprise Manager software, and I have a question about MACs in Ops Manager.

There is a MAC Editor that seems very easy to use but it applies changes immediately and does not allow you to schedule them later.

Separately, there is a MAC Scheduler that does allow you schedule changes but it has no relationship to the MAC Editor, and you cannot use the MAC Editor to create the change you want to schedule. Instead, you have to manually create a CSV file in Excel that lists all your changes and then import that file into the MAC Scheduler.

This seems like a colossal pain the hiney, to put it mildly. Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to create all changes in the MAC Editor and then have a button that allows you to schedule that change later? That action could then create a CSV file for you and then open up the MAC Scheduler with the filename field already filled out for you.

Have any of you used the MAC Editor or MAC Scheduler? If so, what are your thoughts?
