I have recently downloaded the Handy Access Launcher to run a macro every day. I had downloaded it to my company's server. I was wondering if someone could help me figure out how to launch the program when there isn't anybody logged into to server? I had tried to use the windows task scheduler and start it that way(I ASSUMED the windows task scheduler would start even if there wasn't anybody logged in!), but the command line I used doesn't seem to be working. I had used:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator.TANEYCO\Desktop\hal.exe /o E:\F\Taxation\Database Scheduler\AssignVacationNew.Hal

If anybody has an idea, I would truly appreciate the help!!

Hi Melissa,

Am sorry to report that HAL is designed for desktop PC use only, not for running on a server. For it to work, someone has to be logged into the machine HAL is installed on.

The HAL support forum is at is that helps at all.

You might want to try the scheduler found at I have used it on a work station but haven't tried it on a server.

Thanks to both of you. I've downloaded the scheduler from AccessWeb so I'll try that! Thanks a bunch for your help!
