Scheduling in CE10 not working

I have a new install on Enterprise 10 which seems to be working fine except for report scheduling. Whenever I try to schedule a report, the report doesn't run. By this I mean it doesn't goto pending, nothing happens as though there is no schedule there. The report will however run if I select "run now". I'm a bit new to enterprise so any pointers anyone could give me would be great.

Thanks,

Motoko

This could be lots of things.

Select a time 10 minutes from the current system datetime (make sure that the CE server has the right date and time) and see if it runs, this might just be a problem with misunderstanding the options since the Run Now is functioning.

Hi,

I've tried doing that already, I've also tried setting a report to run every x number of minutes, both to no effect. I've also tried scheduling based on local time zone (GMT) as well server time just in case there was something quirky with regional settings. no luck so far.

Did you verify that your datetime is correct on the CE server?

You can also check the NT Event log for errors.

Are all of the CE services running (Check the CMC)?

I've checked the datetime - all OK.

No errors being produced in the event log.

All CE services are running.

Any other suggestions??

Does anything show in history for that report?

The only instances that show in history are the ones where I have run the report manually.

did you manage to fix this I have the same issue?
Thanks - James

Are you scheduling the report from CMC or from ePortfolio?

The reason I ask is because if you are doing it from CMC I have seen people click the Update button rather than the Schedule button.

Are you logged on as an Admin account?

Other than that it seems very strange. if you're scheduling once it should show [blue]Pending[/blue] if you're scheduling for multiple time it should show [blue]Recurring[/blue]

Yes I did resolve this, it was as you have stated, that I was using update rather than schedule.

All is running OK now. I think that the console is a little misleading as you use update on any of the other pages to effect a change.

In the end so long as it works, I'm happy.

Thanks for everyone's contributions

I still have the same issue when when you schedule, it gives you an "Incorrect Logon Parameter Supplied" message. Any help appreciated

I am having an issue where I try to create a new schedule. I enter the time parameters and then click on the "Schedule" button; however, when I look at the "Recurring" instance the time always defaults to either 12:00:00 AM or the time at which I created the schedule. I never had a problem when we used CE 8.5. Is this a bug in the CE10 application? Has anyone else seen this problem?

All, here is an update. DON'T run the ce10win_en Hotfix. I have been working with BO support and they determined that the scheduling problem I was having was due to an bug in one of the updated dll files.
