I have a report of projects that I want to run every night with event and with certain default parameters including one to select data changed today. I use a generic user called scheduler to schedule this report in Crystal Enterprise XI.
This seems to prevent a user from scheduling it On Demand with a different value of the parameter in Infoview. Is there a solution to this problem please? I have tried adding the group to which the user belongs to the list of schedulers.

I suspect that you've set the scheduling defaults to include the event instead of just the schedule itself. So, when a user tries to schedule it, the event is still part of the schedule and the report never runs. If this is the case, then taking the event out of the properties for the report (NOT the scheduled instance!) will probably resolve the problem.
