Scheduling DTS Packages as Jobs

I have scheduled a DTS Package to run as a job overnight but I get the following e-mail saying the job has failed with no indication of why, please can anyone advise what they think could be wrong

MESSAGES: The job failed. The Job was invoked by Schedule 5 (SAS Live Import). The last step to run was step 1 (SAS Live Import).

right click on the package in EM and select Package Logs (assuming you log the package) you will then be able to see each step of the package and establish at which point it failed.

There should also be some details as to why.

You should always log the package output so that you can debug later. I with that it was an option that was turned on by default. It is very handy when it comes to finding out what when wrong in a job.
