I know you cannot run the defrag utility in the task scheduler, but has anyone been able to overcome this obstacle and been able to get this to run on a schedule through a batch or script?
I have a defrag.vbs script that will run it automated through task scheduler. I've been told it works on some machines, and others it will not. Thats the price you pay for "hacking MS i guess)
I can email it to you if you'd like (and i PROMISE it's not virus-infected)!!
All you have to do is use task scheduler to run it whenever you want, and it will run the script. It can also be run directly by executing the .vbs script.
Let me know..
jt@nserv.net if you'd like to send me an email that i can attach it to, or i'll check back to see if you post your email address if you want it.
