scheduling check links

Is it possible to schedule check links to run nightly.
I would like to create an external application that would run in the system tray that would allow me to schedule or run on demand check links for the different series. Any ideas?

There are products that you can purchase to run things like this or a MBS tool called the Macro scheduler, but if you want something free, you could create a macro to log into GP, run check links etc, by scheduling it in scheduled tasks on the server.

I have been trying to locate the stored procedure that MBS is actually running, so that we could schedule it via a sql job and not have to run the application to run it. Anyone heard of this?
