Is there a process, procedure, setting, or method that I have overlooked such that the start time would always transfer from the "Availablility" tab after engaging Autoslect to the Start Time Field in the General Tab of Schedule Activity dialogue box?

I frequently use the "Availablity" tab within the Scedule Activity diablogue box to find "open space" for time duration sensitive tasks (much like project management). I will frequently establish tasks (To-do's generally) on the fly, plug in a value for Duration and then click on the "Availablity" tab to find "white space". While I enjoy the "Autoselect" button in this tabbed area, I've never been able to consistently "lock-in" the selected time for the task on the calender. My solution to date has been to obsevere the start time shown in the Resources Calender then return to the "General" tab and type in the start time. I have on rare occassions found the start time filled in which makes a ton of sense, but, as mentioned, this is rare. In the "Availability" tab, there is a start and end time filled in in the Start Time and End Time fields but reason would suggest that data would then transfer to the "General" tab. I wish I could discern a pattern for when this does translate but cannot.

No, I don't think there is a way to automatically jump to the Availability tab... you need to select the users and resources and duration first
