1. I created a macro that sends an rtf file to two people
2. I created a form as a startup, added a control button and linked it in events to the output macro in step1
3. In tools startup I added the macro name I gave it in step 2.
4. In task Scheduler I scheduled the macro to run using MS Access as my application.

This is where I run into a snag. The task scheduler fails to run the macro and send the rtf file. It asks me for a password. I did not create the access database with a password. I tried using the password I use when I log into my pc but that does not work. Note I am using MS Access 2003 and the access table rests on a server, not my c:drive. Any troubleshooting ideas. I am trying to schedule the macro to run at night every night.

Thanks, I put in my password and it worked intially. Here is my issue. The macro is a sendObject macro designed to email two or three people. In reading microsoft help, it mentions some limitations in using outlook to actually mail the document to people automatically. Presently using task scheduler, my macro assigns the email to be mailed but does not actually mail the document. I still have to manually click and mail the document. Will I need to do something in the module section of VB access as a work around. by the way I am using Lotus notes, not microsoft outlook as my email editor
