Is it possible to schedule a process to update a table right from Access?

We are connecting a pivot table to an Access table, and would like to update (daily) the pivot table, without having to go into Access each day.

We are running against a table (versus a query) due to faster processing time.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Gary

Have you investigated running a Java or VB script by using scheduled tasks in Winblows? I haven't used them too much, but it may be an option for you.

Another option may be to have the onOpen even trigger an output. I use this to update a status report and it works fine since I have to open the database anyway when I get in in the morning.

Hope this gets you closer to the solution.
