Scheduler in Windows

I am coming from MS SQL and testing to see if mySQL is the right product for our corporation. In MS SQL they have a job scheduler and I was wondering if there was any way to do this through mySQL. Looking through the post I realize that there is not anything directly through mySQL but I could create a script and run through a scheduler. My question is what is the best way to do this in a Windows environment (Windows2000)? What do I use as a scheduler.

In windows 2000 you can schedule tasks using "Task Scheduler" this is service in windows 2000. Its quiet good schedule tasks and its inbuilt in windows.
