Scheduler - Impromptu could not connect to the database.

I have been looking through other posts but unable to find my problem.
We have been using impromptu for a while now and we have a need to have reports run on a schedule. I see that there is a schedule option here, but I am unable to make it work. I ran through the manual and I am able to get a task created to run a report, but I get an error
"Impromptu could not connect to the database."
when it tries to run the report.

Do we not have the right access to set up a scheduled report?
Is the config possibly set up wrong for the scheduler and db? Although, we can run reports just fine from impromptu.

Any help will be appriciated.
