Has anyone had experience with the scheduler & setting holidays on a 3300CX II Rls 7.0. with Embedded Mail?
Here's what I'm trying to sort out. I've got a schedule set to go into day service at 08:00am and night 1 at 16:30pm.
My Business hours are set and I'm using ICP Day/Night Mode and that's working fine. Where I'm hung up is once I added a holiday into the mix.
My first attempt was to "exclude holidays" when programming my day & night 1 events, that did not work. The system didn't go into night 1 it stayed in day service.
2nd attempt was to select "exclude holidays" and I selected "if unable to execute the event because of a holiday reschedule the event on the next available non-holiday". I selected this only on the day service event settings. It worked....my system stay in Night 1, played my closed greeting all day on that holiday - however in my event details my status was failed. The message was "event cannot proceed because of holiday. The event has been rescheduled for the next available event." I'm concerned I've gotten my result but its not the way the holiday scheduler was intended. Then the next day (a non-holiday) the system went into day as scheduled but I also recieved a failed status and message " event failed because another day/night event is already executing". I'm guessing I'll see that failed message everyday.

Can anyone shed some light on what I should be doing or what I'm not doing right?

Thanks!

I would try Exclude Holidays for the Day mode only

Thanks, I will try that & let you know.

It worked... I'm getting my closed greeting, but I did get a failed status with message "cannot perform event handler because of holiday".
I'm assumming that's expected?

Based on the facts on hand, I feel a failed to invoke day status due to holiday is appropriate.

It would be weirder to say Day Mode Success when day mode was not activated.
