I'm trying to find out if anyone has experienced this problem.
We have about 250 reports using scheduled events to run every day. ie. If report 1 ran then run report 2. Then if report 2 ran then run report 3. The first report was scheduled to recur every day at the same time.
The Crystal Enterprise ID that had scheduled the recurrence of the reports was deleted from the server. The morning after we deleted the ID we noticed that the reports were not running. The intial report showed failed as the status with this error message: "Object failed to run due to insufficent security privledges." All other reports just were held in recurring state as if the event was never triggered for the first report.
We noticed that the user id that used to show up next to the instances that had run successfully (when the ID existed) and the recurring instances was blanked out. This lead us to believe we needed to delete all recuring instances that were set up with that id and use a current admin id on the server to set the reports to run. We did this and it still seems that the first report that is scheduled to run won't trigger the event after it has run. Even using a new ID, a newly published report, and a new Schedule event.
Has anyone had this experience?
We are running Crystal Enterprise 8.5 and use e-Portolio out of the box as our front end.
Thanks!
