I am aware that a thread on how to create Scheduled Tasks already exists, but it looks too complicated for me.

What I want to do is allow the user to create a .vbs file, which will then run at a date and time they specify.

Any (simple) answer will be much appreciated.

I don't see how without having something continuosly running checking the date and time. Setting up a scheduled task is a piece of cake from Windows itself. When you say it's too complicated do you mean doing it from a program?
