Scheduled Task won't run

Hi

And again I'm having trouble. I've tried to get two different servers to run a scan by invoking such a task from the ePO. It was the very same task but it just ran on one of the servers.

Just before I ran the scantask I had the servers run an update by invoking another task which worked fine on both servers.

Lets concentrate on the server where the scan didn't start. I've checked the agent log and I see that it recieves and invokes the task. After that, nothing happens, I've got no log in either the activity log or the scan log on that server. Anyone got any ideas? Does anyone know of any more logfiles I can look in?

Hi,
Try to change something in the task
and send Agent wakeup call.
Then you look in the status monitor of
the agent and see if your task is updated.

If not try to push out the agent again.

Tríed it. It didn't update the task so I tried reinstalling it but that didn't work either. I'll schedule an restart of the server for tomorrow and see what it will do then.

Hi again,
Try to remove the agent manually like this
C:\ePOAgent\aginst32.exe /remove

Then reinstall it.

It works fine now. I was forced to remove the agent manually from the server and then I could reinstall it from the the ePO.
