Scheduled report won't output to file

Hello Everyone,
Running Symposium 5.0 and SWC 4.5. I followed the help file exactly to create a scheduled report. I made sure the shared network drive and folder were mapped on both SCCS and SWC servers. When the job ran the email notificaiton sent me the following:

"The system could not output the March1test scheduled report to \\server\share\panchanka\test1mar1030120071130.csv .
Error code = -2147206462
Error Description: Dos error.

I searched the NTP's for the error code in the email notification, but found nothing.

Any ideas why my scheduled report is not outputting to a file correctly?

Hi, I'd create a folder on the web server itself and try scheduling a report to write to that folder to see whether it's a problem with the report or the destination.

You could also try different output formats to see if writing to .csv id the issue.

That was a good suggestion and it works. I think it has to do with the iceadmin account not having administrator access on the shared drives I am trying to send it to. Writing ot the local Web Client server is good enough. One other thing I noticed is that when the report is run successfully, no email notification is sent.

Anyone else experience this? Is it possible for it to send an email to let us know that the report ran successfully?
