Hi,

I'm Crystal Server, and Crystal Reports XI, reporting off a Postgres Database.

I've a problem with one report that contains three subreports, if I run the report in Crystal Reports it returns ok, if I run the report as a one off instance in Crystal Server it runs ok, but if I schedule the report to run I end up with over 1500 pages compared with the 70 I require!

Its a report I've inherited and I'm still becoming familiar with, so appologies for not going over board on details from the report as I'm not sure what to start including and whats not relevent given that it works perfectly well 2 out of the 3 ways I can run it.

Cheers

Marc

It sounds like the parameters are not being set properly, or you're overiding the record selection formula.

In CRS, hit the process tab and make sure that AFTER setting the parameters that you hit UPDATE or it doesn't save them, that's a common problem.

Hi,

Thanks very much for that, its done the trick and its something that I wouldn't have found for quite some time.

I'm at a loss though why it just effects this one report as I've not set up any of the other reports to run this way and they all have similar parameters in terms of dates etc.

Thanks again,

Cheers

Marc
