A Crystal report that has been used for months, is scheduled on Seagate Info server and does not run, it stays in the scheduled state. This happens intermittently. The same report can be scheduled and will process and succeed.
Any ideas? There are no errors logged on either of the clustered Seagate Info servers.

I assume that it does not give you an error, it just seemingly ignores this report, and other reports run without a problem.

Make sure that you have the latest patches applied.

The next obvious thing is to try deleting this instance and recreating it, and to make sure that there aren't any externals that might prevent the report from running, such as the machine being shut down, services stopped, etc.

You might also try changing the output format to see if it's related to something there.

Can you identify environmental changes which may coincide with when this started occuring? (Like 2002 becoming 2003, for instance?)

As SynapseVampire suggested, I would remove this instance (especially if this is supposed to be a recurring instance) and recreate it.

I have seen that problem before but don't know the solution. Roasting a turkey doesn't help the situation either.

I called Crystal Technical Support today and they said another customer had reported this problem last week. They had me revert to the original version of aps32.exe, which was version 7.0.200.285. This fixed the problem.
I was using version 7.0.200.373.
