Scheduled Job Fails, Says "no unused media". 1

I have feeling that this isn't very complicated, but I can not get a backup to run unless I do it manually. My schedules jobs do not execute and in the morning I find that "No Unused Media was Available". Do I need a blank tape each time. There are places where the wizzard askes whether I want to overwrite a tape but it just won't do it. I would appreciate any help.
