I'm running Arcserve 2000 on a MS Windows 2000 Advanced server. I can run an interactive job with no problems, but when I schedule a job the start time passes and the job doesn't start. There are no errors in the activity log to show why it's not running - it just sits there.

Scheduled Backup Doesn't Start

If you are modifying the job through a terminal session and you have ARCserve2000 < SP4 then you will need to stop and restart the job engine. The issue w/ terminal services is resolved with sp4.
Also, this sounds silly, but check the day on your schedule. I have sat there waiting, became frustrated and then realized that the job is scheduled to start tomorrow at the same time.

Also you may want to modify the job and check the destination. I've had it before where I have a group0 and a group1 defined. I have my tape drive associated with group1 but the backup job is looking to group0- when it does that it justs sits there and the job never executes.
