Schedule (Traces)

We are doing some troubleshooting on a SQL7.0 database and would like to schedule a trace to start and stop at certain times at night. The reason for the start/stop is that we would only like to run the trace when external data is being imported 04:00am - 05:00am in the morning. Is there a way of scheduling a trace to start automatic? Many thanks

Yes, run it as a Job. You'll need one job to start it and one to stop and clear it.
