schedule the runing reports time

is there any possibility to schedule the running reports time?
for example if the running time for a report is more then 30 min to stop it automatically?

If you create a macro to run the report you could call it using the Windows scheduler rather than the Cognos one. It gives you an option to Stop the task if it runs for .......
Is that any use?
