Schedule tasks

Hi!
I'm using windows 2000 server and i want to schedule some tasks.
I did it already a few times but now it doesn't work anymore!!
I schedule a task and it doesn't perform not even when i execute manualy the task! the computer doesn't do anything on the time that i schedule the task not even an error message box it retrieves me!
Anyone knows what can be?

In the scheduled tasks window, is there anything shown in the last run time or the result columns?

it appears that it was unable to perform the task!

Did you specify a valid administrator account and the right password as part of the scheduled task?

Is the Task Scheduler service started (startup type should be automatic)?

Anything shown in the event log?

Have you tried pasting the Run block from the task's properties into a command window? I have had to do that from time to time to see what errors were being thrown.
