Hi,
I have Perl script that makes a Schedule Task on a Windows 2000 Professional. It is triggered by IE via is made with the IE users credentials.
All works well if I add the user that makes the call via IE to the local admin group to the Windows 2000 machine. I then made a group via AD, added the IE user, and added that to the local admin group and it did not work.
I don't want to add individual users to the local admins, I just want to add them to one AD group.
Why does the local admin group not pick up the domain group I added? I tried a universal group, gloabal group and domain local group and none of them would work.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Best wishes
Michael
