I have a few reports setup on the Management Console to run daily & email to clients (in pdf format) - a few of the reports do not have any detail each day, and I'm looking to stop these from running and/or emailing if they do not? not sure if this is something that events can take care of, if anyone has info it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Not sure if management Console is sophisticated enough if no reports are available but

Click on File->Options and check suppress printing if no records found. That should prevent the output.

At least one of the 3rd-party Report Managers listed at provides this functionality. By default, it uses a flag that indicates processing should abort if zero records are found. It also allows you to schedule a single report and burst it so that each client gets an email with only their part of the report attached as a pdf file.

- Ido

view, email, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.

Thanks guys, I'll try these out and let you know how it turns out!
