If possible - What’s the best way to schedule a reboot for Windows 95/98 during the night?

Any help appreciated

You can. Have a look at:

which has a number of free/shareware utilities, once of which is a timed reboot utility.

I can't vouch for its operation, but I have used other utilities from this site.
